This Statistical First Release provides information on the numbers of staff directly employed by Further Education (FE) institutions during the academic year 2006/07. The data were collected from the institutions by the Department for Children, Education, Lifelong Learning and Skills (DCELLS) via the Staff Individualised Record (SIR).
