Budget Measures and Low-Income Households, 02/07/08 [W/E/NI/S]

The House of Commons Treasury select committee has published a report on the abolition of the starting rate of income tax.

The recommendations include creation of a Poverty Commission to ensure that progress continues to be made on both child poverty and pensioner poverty.
