Measuring Severe Child Poverty in the UK, 01/02/10 [W/E/NI/S]

Save the Children has released a report which reveals that 1.7 million children across the UK live in severe poverty – around 13% of all UK children.

In Wales this figure is higher than all the other UK nations – at 15% this amounts to 96,000 children living in severe poverty in Wales.

A briefing focusing on the figures for Wales has been released and is available to download.
