Management information in local authority youth services, 11/06/09 [W]

Estyn has published a report which highlights the need for better use of management information systems at all levels of local authority youth services.

Evidence shows a lack of common practice in the use of management information systems in local authority youth services across Wales. Because robust management information is not used, planning at all levels is hindered.

Estyn’s report, in addition to the findings, provides six case studies on local authority youth service and concludes with a series of recommendations for the Welsh Assembly Government, local authority youth services and local partnerships.

The report is available to download from the Estyn website.
