The changing pattern of earnings: employees, migrants and low-paid families, 29/10/08 [W/E/NI/S]

This Joseph Rowntree Foundation study explores the assumption that individuals can work their way out of poverty, by examining the changing earnings of employees, the integration of migrants and the progression of low-paid families in Britain since the late 1970s.

The research looks at the impact of Working Families Tax Credit on the extent to which individuals remain in employment and wage growth.

Further information is available on the Joseph Rowntree Foundation website.
