Couldn’t Care Less, 09/09/08 [W/E/NI/S]

The Centre for Social Justice has published a report that describes the care system as a ‘source of national shame’.

The think-tank, chaired by former Conservative Party leader Iain Duncan-Smith, says that children in care should have the right to sue local authorities if they fail to provide them with a decent upbringing and education.

The report can be downloaded from the Centre for Social Justice website.
