The Blast Off Guides, a series of good practice guides produced by the Participation Unit, are now available in hard copy.

The Blast Off Guides are based on the experiences of participation workers in Wales. There are currently 9 good practice guides, with more planned in the future, and topics range from introducing participation to focusing in on participation in particular forms and environments.

For copies of the guides, please e-mail Sean.Price@wales.gsi.gov.uk

Alternatively, the guides are available to download from the Participation Workers’ Network for Wales website, which also has lots of other useful information on participation.

An updated version of Do We Meet Your Needs: National Children and Young People’s Participation Standards Self-Assessment Pack is also available to download.

The pack, developed by the Participation Unit, is intended to help organisations to gather information to demonstrate children and young people’s participation.
