All Wales Travel Behaviour Code, 03/11/09 [W]

The first ever All Wales Travel Behaviour Code has been published and aims to promote positive behaviour and improve the safety of pupils travelling to school and college.

The Code, which comes into force at the beginning of the school term in January next year, covers all modes of transport, including bus, train, walking and cycling for all learners aged 5 to 19.

It sets out the standards of behaviour expected of children and young people when they are travelling from home to school or college.

The Code is available to download from the Welsh Assembly Government website.
