Written Statement on the Disabled Children Matter Wales Campaign, 21/05/08

Jane Hutt, Minister for Children, Education, Lifelong Learning and Skills, has issued a written statement on the Disabled Children Matter Wales campaign.

The Statement provides a summary of progress so far, as well as announcing :

  • an additional £1.54 million for short breaks in 08-09
  • developments on planning regulations for "Changing Places" toilet
  • facilities for new and public commercial buildings
  • a review of wheelchair services and
  • an extra £1.2million over three years for Early Support.
