Statement on the Learner Travel (Wales) Measure 2008, 01/04/09 [W]

Ieuan Wyn Jones, Deputy First Minister and Minister for the Economy and Transport, has issued a written statement on the progress made on the implementation of the Learner Travel (Wales) Measure since it received Royal Approval in December 2008.

The Measure expands access to free school transport for primary school children, improves safety and provides clarity over the provision of free school transport in Wales.

The statement is available on the Welsh Assembly Government website.
