Children’s Social Services In Swansea, 03/03/09 [W]

Gwenda Thomas, Deputy Minister for Social Services, has made an oral statement on the inspection of children’s social services in Swansea which was undertaken in December 2008.

The statement says that the City and County of Swansea has failed to make sufficient progress to tackle the issues identified by the 2007 inspection and bring about the necessary improvements in those services.

The statement is available on the Welsh Assembly Government website.
