Statement by Beverley Hughes, Minister for Children, Young People and Families, on the observations of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child’s about the UK’s report on its implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

Ms Hughes said "I broadly welcome the Concluding Observations and, while areas of difference with the Committee remain, we will give the Committee’s recommendations the careful consideration they deserve.
