Learning and Skills (Wales) Measure 2008, 07/07/08 [W]

John Griffiths, Deputy Minister for Skills, has issued a written statement on the Learning and Skills (Wales) Measure 2008, which was laid before the National Assembly on 7 July 2008.

The proposed Measure will provide a legislative underpinning for the Welsh Assembly Government’s flagship programme, 14-19 Learning Pathways and it seeks to support the development of young people by creating an entitlement for learners aged between 14 and 19 years old to access a wider and more innovative range of curriculum choice.

The statement can be downloaded from the Welsh Assembly Government website.
