Poverty, parenting and social exclusion, 14/05/08 [W/E]

The Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE) has published a new training resource that helps people working in social care to understand the link between poverty, parenting and social exclusion.

These e-Learning resources are freely available to all users and use audio, video and interactive uses of technology to bring alive key aspects of poverty, parenting and social exclusion with particular reference to children and families.

These resources are suitable for students studying towards the Social Work degree, educators and practising social workers. Families affected by poverty have been involved in the development of the resources.

The resources are available on the SCIE website.
