The Princess Royal Trust for Carers has published a resource to help schools in the UK to identify and support young carers and their families more effectively.
It takes staff through the necessary steps needed to help young carers, from developing their understanding of young carers, through to practical and strategic support and finally onto building a healthy school environment. The aim is to guide schools in creating detailed actions that will inform a school action plan for young carers.
