Inquiry into use and regulation of sunbeds in Wales, 17/06/09 [W]

Consultation ends: 21/08/09

The National Assembly for Wales’ Health, Wellbeing and Local Government Committee has announced that it is undertaking an inquiry into the use and regulation of sunbeds in Wales and is calling for those with an interest or expertise in this area to submit written evidence.

The decision to hold an inquiry follows an increased public awareness of the potential health risks associated with the use of sunbeds and especially the use of unsupervised tanning salons by children.

Further information is available on the National Assembly for Wales’ website.
