Consultation ends: 21/08/09

The Welsh Assembly Government is consulting on the Rural Health Plan.

The plan aims to address the challenges faced in ensuring people have appropriate healthcare particularly in sparsely populated communities.

The plan identifies three key themes:

• access to services
• the need and opportunities for closer service integration and;
• community cohesion and engagement.
