DNA database consultation response, 11/11/09 [W/E]

The Home Office has published its response to a consultation it ran earlier this year regarding the retention and removal of data from the National DNA Database.

The Home Office response includes proposals to remove the profiles of young people arrested but not charged or convicted after six years for 16 and 17 year olds and after three years for other young people.

Further information is available on the Home Office website.
