Media Portrayal of Young People – impact and influences, 12/01/09 [E]

Members of Young NCB have conducted a research project exploring how young people are portrayed in the media and the impact this has on them.

The project was carried out by four young researchers who were supported by NCB’s Research Department and a group of seven other Young NCB members. They carried out a survey that showed that many young people feel angry and resentful at the way they are negatively portrayed in the media.

The full report is available to download from the Young NCB website.
