Voices and Choices: Young People Participating in Inspections
Voices and Choices: Young People Participating in Inspections
An evaluation of an innovative approach to obtaining the views of children and young people during inspections of local councils’ children’s services.
A consortium of voluntary organisations, including Barnardo’s, recruited and trained a group of young people who had been in care to participate in inspections of 19 children’s services across England in 2001.
The report includes young people's views, in their own words, and full details of the project methodology.
Published by Barnardo’s in 2002.
The report is available to
buy online.
