The Good Council Guide - how to bring your secondary school council to life, Save the Children, 2004 [E/W]
This guide produced by Save the Children is a sister publication to their guide to school councils in primary schools published in 2001. The guide provides advice on setting up a school council, getting it to work properly and making it a success. It includes tips and activities as well as photocopiable resource sheets. It also contains a section for teachers to show how the councils can link them to teaching Citizenship and PSHE making reference to both the curriculum in England and in Wales

Further information is available on the Save the Children website.
