Serious Fun: Games for 4 – 9s [W]
Serious Fun: Games for 4 – 9s [W]
By Dynamix, Swansea
This book provides a variety of games that can be played with 4 to 9 year olds. The games provided are designed to break the ice, let off steam, build trust or encourage teamwork. The games outlined require minimal planning and the book sets out what you need, how to run the games and where the games can lead. The book has been designed in such a way that the games can be used by adults working with children or by children on their own. The book also includes "snap shots" of how other groups have experienced the activity and "spotlights" to support adults in thinking about their approach to working with children or young people.
