The Presiding Office

Senedd 7The Presiding Office of the National Assembly for Wales is responsible for its smooth functioning. The Presiding Officer chairs the plenary sessions of the Assembly. He/she is also responsible for the interpretation of the Standing Orders the legal framework, which regulates the procedures of the Assembly. The Presiding Officer is supported by a Deputy Presiding Officer.
