The Government of Wales Act 2006 was fully enacted following the Assembly elections in May 2007. It bought a range of powers to the National Assembly for Wales, including the powers to make a new type of legislation known as Assembly Measures. This section provides further details of these new powers and provides a guide to the legislative processes with the National Assembly for Wales.
