This is Children in Wales’ response to the National Assembly for Wales’ Children, Young People and Education Committee’s Inquiry into Statutory Advocacy Provision.
The Inquiry called for information on the following areas:
- The latest position on the implementation of the National Approach to Statutory Advocacy for Children and Young People.
- Issues relevant to the commissioning and funding of statutory advocacy provision.
- The impact of Part 10 of the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014.
- Identifying priority areas where progress of advocacy provision is needed.
