An overview of the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act – training resources for advocacy, 29/04/16 [W]
A number of training resources have been produced to support advocacy in Wales following the implementation of the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014.
The resources, developed by Age Cymru in partnership with Disability Wales, Swansea University and Martin Coyle, give an overview of the key aspects of the Act in relation to advocacy and Independent Professional Advocacy. The documents explore Part 10 of the Act how this fits within the Act as a whole, whilst also building awareness and understanding of the advocacy process.
