Labour market statistics for households, 10/11/16 [W]
The Welsh Government has released the latest data on the labour market for households.
This report includes information on those living in workless households, including children, lone parents and housing tenure. In 2015, 18.3% of households in Wales were workless. Neath Port Talbot and Merthyr Tydfil had the largest percentages of workless households at 25.9% and 24.8% respectively. Monmouthshire and the Vale of Glamorgan had the lowest percentage with 10.8% in Monmouthshire and 13.7% in the Vale of Glamorgan. In Wales, 13.6% of children lived in workless households in 2015, compared with 12.1% in the UK as a whole.
