Inquiry on the equality and human rights implications of Brexit – June 2018

13.06.18

This is Children in Wales response to the National Assembly for Wales inquiry into the equality and human rights implications of Brexit.

This was a joint inquiry held by the Local Government and Communities Committee and the External Affairs and Additional Legislation Committee.

In our response, we highlighted our work on Brexit and children’s rights and the emerging concerns we have identified. These include the erosion of fundamental rights, social cohesion, the loss of EU funding, consideration of UK issues impacting on Wales, and the importance making children’s voices heard.
