Children Commissioner for Wales’ Annual Report 2018/2019

22.10.19

The Children’s Commissioner for Wales has published her Annual Report for the year 2018/2019.

The Commissioner’s office has published an annual report and infographic displaying their year in numbers.

They engaged with 9857 children and young people in Wales this year, and trained 700 children and young people to be rights ambassadors for their schools.

The Annual report details the work the Commissioner’s Office has undertaken to meet the aims of their three year plan, ranging from their Ambassador’s scheme to their online bullying work and their education survey.

The Children’s Commissioner’s office was established as a result of the Waterhouse inquiry into care homes in north Wales. Join us on the 11th December 2019 to explore the outcomes and legacy of the Waterhouse report at our joint Lost in Care event with Voices from Care Cymru.
