Care experienced children and young people

The Public Accounts Committee of the National Assembly for Wales has opened a consultation into the public services for care experience children and young people.

The consultation will focus on the Committee’s remit of the economy, efficiency and the effectiveness with which resources are employed in public functions in Wales. To that end, it will consider the value of money for public services and the Pupil Development Grant for care experience children and young people. It will look at the effectiveness of local authority corporate parenting arrangements. The value of money and effectiveness of care placements will also be examined.

The consultation will close on the 15 September 2017.
