National Participation Charter

The National Participation Charter is underpinned by the three pillars of the UNCRC – Protection, Provision and Participation.

During 2017, Young Wales developed the National Participation Charter. The Charter can be used by organisations and services to illustrate their commitment to the Participation Standards. It is a statement of intent that they are working in line with the standards. However, they must achieve the National Kitemark to use the logo.

Every year a sample audit will be undertaken with some organisations to test compliance.

The Charter lasts for a maximum of two years.
