Training

Children in Wales provides a range of multi-disciplinary training courses which aim to promote an integrated approach for all those working in the statutory, third and independent sectors. The courses draw on the resources of our own specialist staff team, and a national network of expert individuals and organisations, to deliver high quality training events at a variety of venues across Wales. Our training courses are aimed at people working in Wales, and reflect the Welsh context and increasing divergence from child and family policy in England.

Open Training

Children in Wales has a programme of open training courses. The courses are organised on a range of issues, held at venues across Wales and are open to anyone.  Registration for courses is on a first come first served basis and places are limited so early booking is advisable, and substantial discounts are available for Children in Wales members.  Some of our open training courses are now accredited. Children in Wales is proud to announce that it will be able to accept delegates onto its courses who are in receipt of ReAct funding, for further information please click here.

Commissioned 'In House' Training

If you are interested in buying in one of our training courses for your organisation, or commissioning a bespoke training day, Children in Wales can organise this for you.  Courses can be tailored to an organisation’s specific requirements and Children in Wales will provide a unique programme, an expert trainer and all the relevant materials.
