In a consultation launched by Elin Jones AM, Llywyd of the National Assembly for Wales, young people are being asked to provide their views on a name for the youth parliament, its aim, membership, role and values.

Elin Jones AM, has said that intention is “putting the younger generation at the centre of the process” and is an important part of the Assembly Commission’s commitment to give children and young people a voice at a national level.

Responses to the consultation are being taken through the youth parliament website and through regional events during Welsh Youth Work Week. The consultation ends on the 30 June 2017.
