The Welsh Youth Parliament

Previously the National Assembly for Wales asked young people in Wales to give their views on a youth parliament for Wales.

The National Assembly has now announced the results.

The new youth parliament will be called The Welsh Youth Parliament.

They have also said that the parliament will have 60 members to represent young people, and they will be between 11 and 18 years old.

The next step is for the Welsh Youth Parliament Team to set the date that young people will be able to register to vote for Youth Welsh Parliament Members, as well as when and how they can put themselves forward to become a Youth Welsh Parliament Member.
