Welsh Government cabinet reshuffle, 11/09/14 [W]


First Minister Carwyn Jones has announced changes to his cabinet of Ministers and deputy Ministers.

Former Deputy Minister for Social Services, Gwenda Thomas, and Former Minister for Communities and Tackling Poverty, Jeff Cuthbert, have left the cabinet. Mark Drakeford AM will continue as Minister for Health and Social Services, and Leslie Griffiths AM will become Minister for Communities and Tackling Poverty.

Jane Hutt AM will have a larger portfolio, adding Government Business to her Finance role.

Vaughan Gething AM will move from being Deputy Minister for Tackling Poverty to being the Deputy Minister for Health.
