UK Government Periodic Report to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child, 15/7/07 [W/E/NI/S]

This is the UK Government’s report on how it is implementing the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child is an international agreement which sets out right for all children. The UK signed up to the convention in 1990 and has to produce periodic reports for the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child outlining how the convention is being implemented in the UK.  This is the UK’s third report to the UN.

The report can be downloaded from the Every Child Matters website.

The Welsh Assembly Government published its progress report on implementing Children’s Rights in Wales on 28 March 2007

More information about the UN Convention is available in the UN Convention section of this site.
