UK families take poverty message to downing street – 14/03/11

Three parents and their children, from the poorest regions in the UK, are visiting the Chancellor’s office to hand in letters they’ve written about the reality of poverty in Britain and the hardships they’re facing.

Families from Manchester, Cardiff and Westminster in London have come to see George Osborne at No. 11 to back a call for an emergency plan in the budget to tackle poverty in Britain.
