Public Health Bill receives Royal Assent, 03/07/17 [W]

The Public Health (Wales) Bill was given Royal Assent and has been made an Act of the Assembly.

The law is designed to improve public health in a number of fields by making hospital and school grounds smoke free, to raise the age at which it is legal to get intimate piercings to eighteen, and to ensure that public bodies think about how their decisions will affect public health, among other things.
