New drive to help schools save money, 25/10/07 [W]

The Welsh Assembly Government is promoting a new drive to help schools save money when buying equipment. Through the Schools Revenue Project, schools can link up with the rest of the public sector to purchase facilities and equipment and save money through economies of scale.  It is estimated that the scheme could save schools around £20milliion per year, an average of £11,000 per school.
