Financial Capability Week 13 to 17 November 2017

Several organisations, including the Welsh Government, Older People’s Commissioner’s Office, Wales Cooperative Centre, Bridgend Credit Union and the Money Advice Service, are running events to encourage people to talk about money during Financial Capability Week.

The Principality Building Society and the Money Advice Service (MAS) are holding a conference on 14 November 2017 to launch the MAS research on “Financial Capability of Children, Young People and their Parents in Wales”. The event will be an opportunity to hear the latest research and be part of the discussion on the most effective way to address the needs of children and young people.

You can download the event flyer here, and book through Eventbrite.

On 16 November 2017, a wide variety of organisations and policy makers will get together to celebrate and hear about the delivery of financial capability work across Wales, sponsored by Bethan Jenkins AM.

To read more about the event, download the flyer. If you would like to attend, you can book using Eventbrite here.

FinCap Week Wales has more information about the week and the events available here. If you’re holding an event for FinCap Week, you can show your support and get on the map of events through that link too.

Most importantly, you can join in the conversation about money online, using the hashtags #TalkMoneyWales and #SiaradArianCymru
