‘Cymraeg for Kids’ rolled out across Wales, 15/02/17 [W]

The Cymraeg for Kids scheme is being rolled out across Wales following a £225,000 funding boost from the Welsh Government.

The scheme is a unique project, set up by the Welsh Government in partnership with Mudiad Meithrin, which encourages and supports parents to use and transfer their Welsh language skills to their children. The project currently works alongside NHS Wales, delivering in 14 local authorities to raise awareness of the benefits of bilingualism and runs groups to engage parents in activities that promote the Welsh language.
