Cyber First Girls 2020 competition opens

On the 02 December 2019, the CyberFirst Girls 2020 competition opened for registrations.

The competition, run by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), is designed to encourage and inspire young women to consider careers in cyber security, a traditionally male dominated industry.

Teams from across the UK will compete by completing problem solving puzzles and challenges that are designed to help them develop their skills in cyber security.

The grand final will be held in Wales for the first time this year.

Teams are made up of four female students from Year 8, and must be accompanied by a guardian.

Registration for the competition closes on the 21st of January 2019. You can find out more about the event from the National Cyber Security Centre website.
