An opportunity to inform Welsh Government research into the sharing of personal information across Wales, 08/08/12 [W]

On behalf of the Welsh Government, SQW is conducting a research project into what is working well and what could be improved in the sharing of personal information about service users between organisations across Wales, including the role of the Welsh Government’s Sharing Personal Information Programme and the Wales Accord on the Sharing of Personal Information (WASPI).

As part of this research, an online survey of people involved in information sharing, information management and information governance across Wales has been launched. The Welsh Government is keen to ensure that community and voluntary sector organisations perspectives are included in the survey.

This is an opportunity to help inform policy, as the findings of the research will be used to inform the Welsh Government’s approach to improving practice in the sharing of personal information.

The link to the survey is below. Please forward this link to relevant staff engaged in information management/governance in your member organisations for completion. The questionnaire is concise and should take no more than 10 minutes to complete. The survey will be open until Friday 31 August.
