Advice and Advocacy Helpline for Gypsy, Roma and Traveller Communities around Wales, 09/08/17 [W]

Travelling Ahead, now a part of Tros Gynnal Plant, has opened a telephone advice helpline for Gypsy, Rome and Traveller communities across Wales.

Travelling Ahead is developing an advice and advocacy service for Gypsy, Roma and Traveller children, young people, and adults in Wales. The service will support young people and now families and adults on their rights, having a say in the decisions that affect them, and tackling hate crime and discrimination.

The organisation has now also opened a telephone advice line, and from April 2017, has begun to offer information on; accommodation, education, discrimination, consumer rights, legal rights, making a complaint, health, and speaking to the council about services.

They will also provide information about your rights and support to help Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities have their voices heard and involved in decision making.

To contact the advice line you can telephone: 0808 802 0025 or for more information, advice resources and rights information, you can visit the Travelling Ahead website.
