A Week in my Life Research, 23/10/09 [W]

The Disabled Children Matter Wales campaign are conducting research to find out what leisure and play activities disabled children and young people do during the school holidays.

Young disabled people are asked to complete a diary for a week in order to:

  • Find out what leisure and play activities disabled children and young people do during the school holidays
  • See what differences there are in access to leisure and play activities geographically.
  • Have evidence of where there is little access to services or little provision that can be used in lobbying.
  • Gain evidence of how much mainstream provision disabled children and young people use.
  • Use localised research evidence to support children and young people’s participation in the DCMW campaign through constituency contacts.

After the questionnaires have been collated, Aa sub group of the DCMW campaign will analyse the data and prepare a report.

Download the diary to complete.
