£280 million to modernise North Wales Schools, 04/07/2019 [W]

The Welsh Government has invested £280 million in schools in North Wales, the First Minister said, last week, opening two of the newly finished schools in Ruthin.

The investment is part of the 21st Century Schools and Education programme, modernising schools in Wales.

The next stage, which includes a further £2.3 billion funding for all of Wales, will aim to turn schools and colleges into community hubs for learning and local activities.
