Chief Executive, Children in Wales

Following the upcoming retirement of Catriona Williams OBE, Children in Wales is looking for a new Chief Executive

We seek a dynamic, passionate and experienced leader who will develop the organisation’s already established position. Our new Chief Executive will increase our impact and influencing ability for the benefit of all children and young people in Wales.

Children in Wales is the national third sector organisation that works closely with others to improve the lives of all children, young people and families in Wales. Our aims are to decrease inequality, increase opportunities and develop a society fit for children.

Children in Wales:

  • Creates a united voice for the sector, by way of campaigns, developing capacity and encouraging collaboration
  • Gives a voice to all children and young people, so they are at the centre of policies, services and delivery. We are the leading organisation that enables communication between Welsh Government policy makers and the organisations responsible for implementing policy
  • Promotes the rights and needs of children and young people
  • Shapes policy and shares best practice to develop the workforce, by way of meetings, events and training
