CHILDRENS-RIGHTS-LOGO

The 20th November 2019 will signify the 30th year since the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) was created and we are all coming together, as organisations who support Children’s Rights in Wales, to celebrate this birthday.  This FREE celebratory event will recognise the journey that the UNCRC has been on in Wales to date, as well as looking what needs to be achieved in the future.

Confirmed speakers include:

  • Mark Drakeford AM, First Minister of Wales
  • Julie Morgan AM, Deputy Minister for Health and Social Services
  • Sally Holland, Children’s Commissioner for Wales

Huw Stephens, Welsh radio presenter who broadcasts on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio Cymru and BBC Radio 6 Music will be milling around and acting as our “reporter” for the day, and there will be plenty of input from young people from across Wales too.

We are now calling for expressions of interest in either leading a roundtable discussion, promoting your messages in our marketplace or providing us with digital and creative film.  Please download the application form here: Roundtable-Marketplace Submission Form
