Cardiff's integrated children's centre at Michaelston Community College serves the two Communities First areas of Ely and Caerau and aims to improve health, education and the emotional development of young children and families through an integrated approach.

The centre provides high quality early years education, childcare support services to children and their families, support for children with special needs and provision of adult education, parenting support and community education teams.

Services provided:

• A part-time morning or afternoon Welsh or English Nursery place for children from age 3 years.
• Daycare facilities for children aged 8 weeks to 5 years open from 8.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday 50 weeks per year (Centre closed 1 week during the Christmas holidays and 1 week during the Summer holidays). Payment needs to be made 1 month in advance
• Breakfast Club - Monday to Friday open from 8.00am - 9.00am (no charge).
• After School Club - Monday to Friday open from 3.00pm - 6.00pm (£5.00 per session). To be booked and paid for in advance
• Holiday Club - open during school holidays - morning session 9.00am - 12.15pm (£5 per session) or afternoon session from 12.45pm - 4.00pm (£5 per session or parents may book for the full day £11.50 which includes lunch . To be booked and paid for in advance
• There are also free sessions at the Centre for Mothers and Toddlers
