Safeguarding Reports

Children in Wales carries out a range of work relating to safeguarding and protecting children. This includes:

  • Child Protection Representation - Children in Wales is represented on both the North and South Wales Child Protection Forums. We are also represented on the All Wales Child Protection Procedures Review Group which is involved in updating the All Wales Child Protection procedures and developing All Wales Child Protection Protocols
  • Child Protection Training - Children in Wales provides tailor-made introduction to child protection courses for a range of organisations. The child protection training is always tailored to the needs of the organisation concerned but will generally include basic awareness and raising and developing effective policy and procedures in organisations. More information about this and the rest of Children in Wales’ training programme is available in the Training Section of this site.

Enquiries about all this work should be directed to: Sean O'Neill, Policy Director, Children in Wales, Tel: 029 2034 2434, E-mail: sean.oneill@childreninwales.org.uk Click here for details on:
